Job Description

An energetic Office Manager to take care of the day to day operations of our Austin, Texas based office and assist with HR & Office management, and basic Accounting tasks as needed. In this role, you will ensure the success of daily activities and functions and help to create a fun and welcoming office culture. Responsibilities

  • Provide office accountability and consistency
  • Basic accounting and collaboration of accounting with company CFO / CPA of invoices, reimbursements and equipment
  • Manage office supplies, local vendors
  • Maintain HR and Recruiting platforms
  • Go-to for working knowledge of company HR needs
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and offboarding (new hire checklist, access, equipment, desk setup, etc.)
  • Coordinate calendars for in office activities
  • Plan, facilitate and execute events (e.g. all hands meetings, holiday party, team building activities, etc.)
  • Manage resources, e.g. building access requests, weekly lunch orders, kitchen supplies, parking passes, etc.
  • Manage the inbound and outbound mail
  • Schedule and host candidates for onsite interviews

Qualifications

  • Must have office management experience, preferably in a startup or tech-orientated company
  • Must be “tech-orientated” and learning new technology / software comes easily to you
  • Must have solid written, spelling and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain a professional business appearance at all times
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an attention to detail
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Proficient working knowledge of workplace tools including Google Drive, G-Mail, Quickbooks, and presentations under Google and Microsoft Office tools
  • Must have current work experience using Apple MacBooks
  • Comfortable in a highly collaborative environment with the ability to work well with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize, problem solve, manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision
  • Recruiting coordinator experience preferred
  • Jira experience is nice
  • Spanish speaking would be a bonus
  • Must be able to pass a full background check
  • Accounting background is recommended
  • 4 Year Degree
